Many of my friends are beyond creeped out by the new commercial for SJP's "Covet" Perfume. Personally, I adore it. While it is a bit campy it has a neat haute couture edge that is really appealing to me. What do you think?

I was shocked and deterred by it because it goes so against everything we associate with Sarah Jessica Parker. Perhaps that was their idea--could hardly ignore it. But it didn't make me want to buy it: the message it sent to me was "if you're an angry sociopath, this is the perfume for you." I doubt that was their intent when planning the campaign, but it did cool me off towards the scent somewhat.
