On the Cusp: Love It

It's official, I am in love. I have not been this enamored with a shop since Barney's Coop. Seriously. Cusp just opened in the mall near my parents' house and of course I had to go the day after opening. And believe me I was not disappointed.

Neiman Marcus group opened Cusp to cater to the younger demographic. The stores are smaller and hipper with an edgy Anthropologie-esque design. While there is no Neiman's branding in the store, shoppers can still use Neiman's cards and expect to receive the same level of customer service.

Many of the designers carried at Cusp are congruent with NM such as DVF, Theory and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Yet Cusp also carries smaller indie labels as well as high end make-up and campy home decor items. After drooling throughout the store for an hour I settled on a Shu Umera eye lash curler and DiorShow mascara, as that is why I had initially come to the mall, yet also snagged an adorable pair of flats for just $105! More to come on those.

Celeb Clothing Line: Twenty8Twelve by Sienna Miller and Sis

There have been whisperings of Sienna Miller's clothing line for several months now and only recently this summer did the first looks debut for fashion editors and reporters alike. I am so excited about this line for a few reasons, mainly because I adore Sienna's style and also because she is collaborating with her sister, Savannah, who is a trained designer under Matthew Williamson and Alexander McQueen.
The sisters launched the debut of their Spring 2008 collection last week to celebs and celebutantes. The fall collection will be carried exclusively in stores such as Neimans in LA and Bergdorfs in NY(also a good sign that the collection will be fabu as it is being carried at high end stores). I just hope for those of us elsewhere there will be online availability. I have some preliminary pics below, courtesy of Fashion Inc. Blog at CondeNast.com

Eye Love a Beauty Gift

I can never resist a beauty gift offering. In fact, I am often looking for any extra incentive to buy more beauty goodies. I am totally going to take advantage of this Neiman Marcus Special! I am definitely in need of some extra eye care as I have been working long hours lately and possibly going out on the town a bit much. I love looking bright eyed and busy tailed so to speak so I think some eye TLC is in order.
Laura Mercier
Night Nutrition Renewal Eye Creme
$45

I love Laura Mercier beauty products. They always smell fresh and are really hydrating

Shu Umera
Eyelash Curler Renovation
$18

I just broke my E.L.F. curler that I bought for $1 and I think it's time for an upgrade. Professional Make Up Artists and Celebs (as well as my girls) swear by this one.

Prada
Reviving Concealer/Eye/Tint
$45

My revlon concealer is just not cutting through the dark circles anymore. A little Prada never hurt anyone.

Saks, Neimans...Emails? Oh My!

If you are like me, you have a love/hate relationship with all of the shopping newsletter updates that you sign up for. Aside from my true love, Shop It to Me, I have checked far too many boxes requesting more information at the end of each online shopping spree check out. To date, I receive about 20 emails and I have to say the majority of them are fairly disappointing. But still every once in a while you receive one that has the glorious word "Sale" shrieking from the headlines. And let me tell you...those never go in the Trash. Please see above for just such an example...and below for what I have been eyeing since I found it in my Inbox.

Giuseppe Zanotti
Leather Fold-Over Boots
$875.00 down to $349.90
A girl can dream....
