Engagement Shoot Look for Less?

I'm on the hunt for two perfect engagement shoot outfits. Although the weather may not be perfect, I want to look autumnly chic. I want us to have two distinct looks - one cozy cute and one more dressed up.

One complete look for less than 200 bones...not too bad if I do say so myself. I'm thinking I could probably swing it without the shoes (although at $29 that is not a bad deal). My one concern is that the cap-sleeve sweater may be a bit chilly in November Chi-town weather.

A Blustery E-Shoot

Currently I'm gathering inspiration for a fall blustery engagement shoot. We're scheduled the week of Thanksgiving to have our e-session with our fantastic photographer. I had initially envisioned an e-shoot in the heat of the Chicago summer but alas it took us too long to get our little bums back home. So now while we may have to deal with chilly temperatures, I'm excited for the deep romantic autumn colors of Chicago in November.

Inspired Engagement Sessions

I'm so excited for our engagement session with our fantastical photographer Chad Husar. Our photographer was booked almost immediately after we were engaged...second to our venue and I immediately thought Chad would be perfect for us after not only drooling over his work but also speaking over the phone and meeting in person.

I've been gathering some inspiration for our e-session since then. I'm kind of nervous about it...I get all nerdy in front of a camera and personally do not think I'm the MOST photogenic. But all of you amazing brides out there who have had e-sessions continue to echo that it is a great opportunity to be comfortable in front of the camera and vibe with your photographer before your actual wedding day.

So we'll probably have the e-session in mid - late fall, the next time we head out to Chicago. So the inspiration I've been gathering includes more layered looks (as you can see I'm very literal).
